Zewdie Birhanu
Professor Zewdie Birhanu, a faculty member at Jimma University’s School of Public Health, holds a PhD in Tropical and Infectious Diseases. He has served in various leadership roles, including chief academic and research director and head of the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society. He has authored over 120 publications on diverse topics including immunizations, supervised and mentored several postgraduate students. Zewdie has managed over 14 research grants and has contributed to national and international consultancy services, conferences, and training programs.
