Nsagha Shey
Professor Nsagha Shey works at the Department of Public Health and Hygiene, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Buea, Cameroon. He is a Professor of Epidemiology and the Vice-Dean, Programmes and Academic Affairs. He is the principal investigator of the project entitled “Artificial Intelligence applications to support Epidemic and Pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response; Controlling re-emerging and emerging infectious diseases using a digital one health approach in Cameroon” funded by IDRC and AI4PEP and the York University under the Digicare-Cameroon Consortium. Professor Nsagha has over 25 years of working on implementation research. He has carried out implementation research in resource limited settings in Cameroon; interacting with local communities and health facilities; and in the conflict zones of Cameroon. He has managed over six project grants from international donors. He established links on HIV/AIDS collaborative research project with the Goldfarb School of Nursing (USA) that led to the signing of a fruitful Memoradum of Understanding with the University of Buea. He has published over 180 articles with 60 related to reproductive health in international peer review journals.
