Geraldine Mbagwu
Geraldine Mbagwu is a dedicated public health specialist with significant experience in immunization programs and research. Her work in this field has been instrumental in strengthening health systems and improving vaccination coverage in low- and
middle-income countries. Geraldine has provided technical assistance in developing routine immunization strategies and vaccination programs. Her contributions have helped to enhance the efficiency and reach of immunization efforts in various settings. She led the Community Theater for Immunization (CT4I) project, strengthening vaccine demand and acceptance at the sub-national levels. Currently, she focuses on gender mainstreaming across different health programs and addressing gender and other intersectionality barriers to vaccination. Geraldine has also co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals, sharing best practices in immunization program implementation. She holds a BSc in Public health and an MSc in public health with a specialization in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Health Promotion.
